1. Information we collect
When an operator applies for a listing, we collect submitted company and contact information, service areas, vehicle details, photos, and regulatory identifiers when provided. Our providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, request time, and security logs.
2. How we use information
- Review, verify, and manage listing applications.
- Contact applicants about their submission or Charteva services.
- Operate, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the directory.
- Prevent fraud, spam, and misuse, and comply with legal obligations.
3. How we share information
We may share information with providers that host the site, store application data, or help secure and operate the service. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect rights and safety. Charteva does not currently sell personal information.
4. Public listings
Submitting an application does not automatically publish it. If approved, business information and vehicle details intended for customers may appear publicly. We will not intentionally publish a private contact name unless it is public business information or the operator authorizes it.
5. Retention and security
We retain information as reasonably needed to review applications, operate the directory, document our relationship, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
6. Choices and requests
Operators may request access, correction, or deletion of application information, subject to legal and operational retention needs. A dedicated request channel will be added before paid service launches.
7. Children
Charteva is a business directory and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as the MVP changes. The last-updated date identifies the current version.
